Filming at Gold Hill? The most-recent feature-length production to shoot at Gold Hill was "Stagecoach Santa" (2010). Both the locomotive and depot are available to entertainment production companies for both film and television work. The high-concept, special-effects intensive short film, "The American" is in pre-production and plans to shoot in 2012. We offer over 180 deg. of backstopped sight lines and period signage from 1870 forward. Period re-enactment groups in full period costume with film experience are nearby locally and in Grass Valley, California. 3 ton lighting and grip is available out of Reno. Email to stough@goldhillnv.org for details. |
